These Terms & Conditions apply to the Flora app (hereafter referred to as "Application") for iOS devices, created by Double E Studio (hereafter referred to as "Service Provider"). The Application is currently free to use.
Acceptance of Terms
By downloading or using the Application, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before using the Application.
Unauthorised copying, modification, reverse-engineering, extraction of source code, translation, or creation of derivative works based upon the Application is strictly prohibited. All intellectual property rights in the Application, including but not limited to trademarks, botanical imagery, and written content, remain the exclusive property of the Service Provider.
The botanical images provided in the Application are sourced from CC0 (public domain) or equivalent free-to-use licensed content.
Use of the Application
The Application is provided "AS IS". The Service Provider strives to ensure that the Application is reliable and fully functional at all times. However, the Service Provider reserves the right to modify the Application, add paid features, or discontinue features at any time. Any changes that affect pricing will be clearly communicated in advance.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and ensuring the Application is used only in a manner consistent with these Terms.
Personal Data
The Application stores only your in-app preferences (such as saved flowers and display settings) locally on your device. No personal data is transmitted to the Service Provider or any third party. It is your responsibility to keep your device secure.
The Service Provider advises against jailbreaking your iOS device, as doing so can compromise the device's security and may affect the Application's functionality.
Connectivity and Offline Use
Flora is designed to work entirely offline. All flower content is bundled with the Application and does not require an internet connection. The Service Provider is not responsible for any issues arising from lack of device battery or storage.
Updates and Termination
The Application may be updated from time to time to maintain compatibility with new iOS versions or to improve functionality and content. You agree to accept updates when offered.
The Service Provider may discontinue the Application at any time without prior notice. Upon termination, any rights granted to you under these Terms will end, and you must delete the Application if instructed to do so.
Limitation of Liability
While the Service Provider aims to provide accurate, up-to-date botanical information, all content is provided for educational and entertainment purposes only. The Service Provider accepts no liability for direct or indirect losses, inaccuracies, or omissions resulting from the use of the Application.
Third-Party Platforms
The Application is distributed via the Apple App Store. Your use of the Application is also governed by Apple's applicable terms, conditions, and policies. The Service Provider is not liable for any actions or obligations of the App Store that may affect your access to or use of the Application.
Changes to Terms
These Terms & Conditions may be updated periodically. You are encouraged to review this page regularly. Continued use of the Application after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
