These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the mobile application Hair Scan AI (the "Application"), developed by DoubleE Studio and created by Michele Cipriani and Tommaso Vilotto (the "Service Provider").
By downloading, installing, or using the Application, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions in full. Access to core app functionality is subject to explicit in-app acceptance of these Terms.
If you do not accept these Terms, you must not access or use the Application.
The Application provides a preliminary and indicative scalp analysis through photographic image processing and AI services (Google Gemini API).
The Application is not intended for clinical practice, medical-device-regulated workflows, or professional medical decision-making.
The Application includes the following flow and features:
Use of the Application is restricted to users who are at least 18 years old. Users under 18 are not authorized to use this service.
You may choose to:
You are responsible for safeguarding your Google/Apple access credentials. The Service Provider does not store your provider password.
Scalp photos taken through the Application are:
You represent that you have the right to capture and submit the uploaded images and that they do not infringe third-party rights.
The Application uses Google AdMob to display ads. Some features can be unlocked through rewarded ads. Ad viewing and ad data handling are subject to Google policies and, where required, user consent settings.
The in-app coin/credit system is managed internally for feature unlock logic.
An active internet connection is required for core operations, including AI scan processing, ad delivery, and account synchronization.
You are responsible for carrier/mobile data charges and connectivity limitations.
All intellectual property rights related to the Application, including code, design, branding, and content, belong to the Service Provider and/or its licensors.
You may not:
The Application integrates third-party services, including:
Use of third-party services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies.
The Application uses Google Gemini API in paid service mode, and related data handling is governed by the applicable Google contractual terms for that mode.
The Application is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis, without warranties of any kind.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service Provider is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the Application, including reliance on AI-generated outputs.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded by mandatory law, including liability for willful misconduct, gross negligence, personal injury, or fraud where applicable.
Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights under applicable law.
You can delete your account at any time from the Application settings.

The Service Provider may modify, update, suspend, or discontinue the Application (or parts of it) at any time, including feature availability and monetization logic.
The Application may be distributed through stores such as Google Play and Apple App Store. Your use may also be subject to applicable store terms.
These Terms may be updated periodically. Material changes may be communicated through in-app notices or email (if available). Continued use of the Application after such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Italy, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rights that may apply under the laws of your country of habitual residence.
For users acting as consumers, any dispute may also be brought before the competent courts under applicable mandatory consumer law. For non-consumer users, unless otherwise required by law, disputes are submitted to the competent courts of Italy.
